An Autumnal Update

autumn

In this beautiful autumn season we are reminded of the oft- quoted phrase, “the only constant is change”. This it seems has proven true within our practice at Kairos as well. We began our journey over a year ago as a group of five and this summer that number shifted to two as Kristi, Mary Jean and Trinity were called to focus their gifts and energies elsewhere. We are honored to have had the opportunity to partner with these lovely ladies for a time and are grateful to still be able to share the Santa Cruz community with them! For those of you wondering what are dear colleagues are up to now, here’s a brief update….

Kristi took a job working for Kaiser in the Chemical Dependency Recovery Program as a case manager. She has found it to be a wonderful fit and is grateful for all her previous experiences, including time at Kairos that have helped prepare her for her current job.

Mary Jean has turned her work focus entirely toward her full time position as the Executive Director of the Christian Counseling Center in San Jose. She works with a team to keep things flowing smoothly and has many opportunities to use her incredible gifts of nurture with her large staff.

Trinity has continued on in private practice and is working out of her own office in the same building that we share as Kairos. Her practice is a busy one but she is still accepting new clients. You can contact her at [email protected] to schedule an appointment.

In this new season at Kairos, our practices are growing and we still love working out of our cozy office. Lacy finds joy and variety in the balance of life as a working mom. When not seeing clients she relishes spending time with 10-month old Sage and her husband Christian. Bianca continues to have fun employing a mix of acupuncture, herbs, massage and nutrition to help support her patients. Her passion for exploring the healing gifts in the natural world keeps expanding. She looks forward to educating folks about topics such as the benefits of a whole-foods based diet in the upcoming purification program and in future workshops down the road.

Collectively we at Kairos are grateful for opportunities to serve our community through individual and group appointments as well as through free or low cost educational opportunities. If there are specific topics you’d like to learn more about let us know and we’ll see what sort of class we can cook up for you! We’re also open to partnering with you at your next community event or outreach so let us know how we can help!

We look forward to continued partnerships with you in your healing journeys and always welcome your referrals as we still have space for new clients and patients.

Wishing you vibrant health and peaceful well-being!

Lacy and Bianca
